What time can I arrive?
The gates open at midday, 12:00pm.
…and when do I have to leave?
The music stops at midnight, 12:00am. Please be sure to leave the site swiftly and quietly.
TRANSPORT & ACCOMMODATION
How can I get to and from the site?
For those with a car, Vogrie Country Park, City of Edinburgh EH23 4NU
For those without a car, there’s a few options…
Taxi: Edinburgh’s taxi services are second to none and very reasonably priced. A 6-seater taxi should cost around £30 to Edinburgh city centre, so less than a fiver each! Here’s the contact numbers of the companies that we use:

Bus: We will also be running a bus service that will leave Waterloo Place every 30 minutes from 12:15pm sharp. We are charging £10+bf just to cover our costs. To book your seat buy from the main page on our website.

Is there camping on site?
Unfortunately, there will not be camping available this year. For those who are coming from afar, please check out these accommodation options:

FOOD & DRINK:
What if I get thirsty?
All the bars will be fully stocked with water, soft drinks and locally sourced craft beer and cider as well as wine and spirits, all available at reasonable prices.
Please note: ID will be required for the purchase of alcohol and due to licensing conditions, no beverages purchased outside will be allowed on site.
What if I get hungry?
You are permitted to bring your own food, but if you want to travel light there will be local traders on site with a wide range food options, including vegetarian and vegan options.
Where is Woodland Dance Project?
Woodland Dance Project will take place 20 minutes drive from Edinburgh city centre in the Midlothian area. The site is fully accessible with disabled access and toilets. Further details to be announced soon.

Is there an age policy?
Unfortunately due to licensing conditions, Woodland Dance Project will be a strictly 18+ event. Therefore, ID will be required for entry to the site.
Please note: the right of admission is reserved by security and the organisers.
Will there be first aiders on site?
The First Aid & Welfare Tent will be professionally staffed and clearly signposted across the site and all stewards will be able to assist anyone in need of medical or welfare assistance.
How are you going to clean up?
We are dedicated in preserving the woodlands in which we dance. We have our own dedicated waste management team, and you can be safe in the knowledge that everything that can be recycled, will be recycled.
Will there be an ATM/cash machine?
Cash machines will be available on site for a small charge.
What shall I do and not do?
- DO be considerate of fellow dancers. We are all just here to have a good time after all.
- DO be polite and orderly to all staff including security. All the staff at Woodland Dance Project are there for your safety and enjoyment.
- DO dance.
Please do not:
- DO NOT bring your own independent sound system, that’s our job.
- DO NOT bring your dog, or any other pet. This is primarily for health and safety reasons, but we’re pretty sure they won’t have a good time!
- DO NOT bring illegal or illicit drugs. Please note: anyone found with illegal or illicit drugs on their persons will be removed from the site and reported to the police.
